This teacher team will form a professional learning community that will work to develop, implement, and sustain outdoor learning practices in its school district for the elementary school level (K-6). The team plans to collaborate monthly, attend trainings, and review case studies at nearby school sites who are effectively using outdoor classrooms. The team willl also utilize support staff within the district to guide its planning and data sharing. Ultimately, the team wants to develop an instructional guide for educators to use at any school site, meet with district administrators to write an outdoor learning policy, and develop outdoor learning guidelines for its school communities.
