This project aims to develop and implement DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) curricula through project-based learning that incorporate diverse perspectives, cultures, and voices in a K-8 Mandarin immersion school. We aim to create a learning environment that resonates with students from various backgrounds. This project encourages our bilingual students to develop skills of collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving, providing a platform for students to express themselves in Chinese and build up a more inclusive community, and it aligns with our school’s vision for students to be global citizens and bilingual learners.
