Impact Academy of Arts and Technology, Hayward
This team plans to level up their existing Literacy Inquiry Group by attending literacy and EL trainings and partner with experts. The team plans to attend the Reading Apprenticeship Institute and receive feedback from Institute facilitators to create a formalized professional learning space, and partner with experts who are able to support their learning. The team believes that EL outcomes are an area for growth and is excited to learn how to support EL learners. These teachers will meet regularly to develop literacy practices with specific EL strategies, thereby ensuring that they serve all students towards equitable learning outcomes.
