Live Oak High School, Morgan Hill
This team of high school teachers in Morgan Hill plans to implement and improve curriculum in their English department to make it more relevant to 21st century notions of social justice and empowerment. Through workshops, professional planning time, and collaboration, teachers will facilitate critical conversations about social justice and contemporary topics. These learnings will affect how students through all grade levels communicate, collaborate, critically think, and create new approaches to tackle 21st century skills and culturally relevant topics.
