Cedar Grove Elementary, San Jose

This team of six experienced elementary school teachers will attend Guided Language Acquisition Design (GLAD) training and learn innovative ways to build academic language and literacy. They will create and maintain a literacy program based on GLAD strategies woven into their curriculum across grade levels. This program will equip team members to meet the needs of the English Language Learners, as well as the native English speakers in their diverse classrooms. Team members will support each other, share best practices, and work in collaboration with their ELD specialist to track progress.
