Achieve Academy, Oakland

This team plans to empower their emerging multi-lingual students and teachers with powerful literacy instruction through neurology-based and culturally responsive language acquisition strategies. The team hopes to bring precision responsiveness to how they facilitate the learning of multiple literacies in all content areas to our young people. By using a GLAD (Guided Language Acquisition Design) approach in their daily instruction, they hope to operationalize an English Language Development model in their school for years to come.
