Korematsu Middle School, City of El Cerrito

This team of middle school teachers plans to attend conferences on facilitating Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). They will adapt and implement their learnings to thoroughly plan staff meetings, with the goal to have the same intentionality for educator meetings as the plans they make for their students. This new community of teacher leaders across subject areas will benefit from their leadership growth as well as improved collaboration with colleagues around teaching strategies and improving as educators.
