This team of teachers plans to implement the Unified PE curriculum at four high schools in San Francisco. The course is designed to intentionally bring together special education and general education students in an atmosphere of inclusion and acceptance. Team members will build learning teams of PE and Special Education teachers to collaborate about least restrictive and accepting environments for all students. Through learning from experts, collaborating with other school and community stakeholders, and implementing sustainable Unified PE courses, teachers hope to create safer and more accepting schools.
