Washington Elementary School, Richmond
This project supports a core team of five dual language immersion teachers in developing and implementing culturally responsive English Language Development (ELD) practices in our classrooms. Working with consultants and attending conferences, we will engage in collaborative professional learning, curriculum development, and ongoing progress monitoring. Our goal is to strengthen our curriculum, leading to better EL student achievement. The team will also share strategies and leadership with paraprofessionals and teachers to build schoolwide coherence to strengthen student outcomes across the school.
